Achievement overview

The Mermaid Mask has 21 Steam achievements divided into three broad categories:

• Story progression (5) — unlock automatically as you advance.
• Puzzle solving (10) — require solving specific environmental or mechanical locks.
• Exploration & collection (6) — require fully inspecting optional rooms and 3D clues.

The Steam community achievement page is the authoritative source for the full list. At launch, the exact names and unlock conditions for every achievement were not fully public, so specific names are to be confirmed — we list categories and counts only, never invented names.

Missable achievements

Community guides warn that several achievements are highly missable if you enter the final confrontation without completing all investigations:

• Phone-related — fully investigate Dirk's cellphone before the finale.
• Dictaphone-related — listen to all of Mariana's secret recordings.
• Optional rooms — complete the Bilge and Dome Tank puzzles before the final reconstruction.
